Cybersecurity at NVHS
At North Valleys High School (NVHS), students in the Cybersecurity CTE program aren’t just learning about technology, they’re learning how to protect it.
NVHS offers students a unique opportunity to explore one of the fastest-growing career fields in the country. Through hands-on, real-world instruction, students learn how to secure networks, analyze threats, safeguard data, and think critically about digital safety in an increasingly connected world.
Coursework goes beyond theory. Students engage in practical labs and simulate cyber scenarios designed to build both technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Along the way, they develop a strong foundation in networking, ethical hacking principles, digital forensics, and system security, skills that are highly valued in both higher education and the workforce.
The program not only prepares students for postsecondary pathways in computer science and information technology, it also opens doors to industry certifications and entry-level career opportunities immediately after graduation.
